Recipe: Baked Breaded Haddock

Recipe: Baked Breaded Haddock

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Haddock fillet (¾ to 1 inch in thickness)
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 6 tablespoons salted butter (melted)
  • ¼ teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 lemon
  • ½ teaspoon fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Put a spoonful of melted butter on a baking sheet or in a dish and spread to coat bottom
  3. Combine the bread crumbs (1 cup) with the rest of the melted butter
  4. Salt and pepper both sides of the fish as desired
  5. Spread bread crumbs evenly over the fish
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until fish is cooked thoroughly (should easily flake). Thicker cuts may require additional time in the oven.
  7. Serve with a squeeze of lemon juice and garnish with fresh parsley (if desired)
